Atomus is driven from the keyboard. Every interaction has a key, and every key can be remapped.

Global shortcuts

These work from any app on your Mac. Change them in Settings → Shortcuts → Global.

⌥ A opens the capture window (default)
Reviews don't need a global shortcut. They come to you.

The field accepts any modifier combination that macOS accepts, so you can pick a ⌃ ⌥ ⌘ chord if ⌥ A clashes with something you already use.

In the capture window

⌘ ↵ saves and closes
Esc discards the capture
Atomify button triggers AI extraction on the current note

In a notch review

Default (two buttons):

1 for Forgot
2 for Remember

Full FSRS (enable in Settings → Labs → Review buttons):

1 for Again
2 for Hard
3 for Good
4 for Easy

Review keys are remappable in Settings → Shortcuts → Review if you'd rather use letters or the numpad.

Click the icon opens the main window
